That guy was, to me, the teacher who I thought was kind of retarded but whose class I liked anyway. I never really felt motivated to read by that show, though, because I was a major book geek and was reading things far above the level of the books presented on that show. Still, it’s sad to see it go. The last time I watched public television I was shocked and then depressed to be bombarded with commercials. Not sponsorship announcements, commercials.
